So Grown Up

3.22.09

Lucas is 7 going on 37!

Greg is an usher at church, Mac is a junior usher and I am a Eucharistic Minister. Usually we serve altogether at the same mass. That leaves Lucas out. So he started serving as a junior, junior usher, or "Mac's junior usher" as Mac likes to say. He LOVES his job and takes it very seriously! It was his idea to wear Mac former blazer!

Sweetness is ...

...your baby, loving a baby!!!
3.14.09
I babysat my friend, and former babysitter of my kids, baby girl tonight. Alexia is 7 1/2 months old and just adorable! But I barely got to hold her because Mac monopolized her! He loves babies! And boy did Alex LOVE him! She sat with him and put her head on his chest and just layed there for 45 minutes! It melted my heart! Lucas wanted in on the action too!!

St. Patrick's Day 2009

The Dublin St. Patrick's Day Parade 2009 was today, Saturday March 14th. It was a great day for it... not too cold- no wind, no rain, no snow! We went with our friends the Millers. Here are a few shots of the event.

An incredible display...

3.13.09
Fifth Grade Compound Machine Museum
St Brigid of Kildare School
Mac's class ended their study of simple machines with a project to design a compound machine that included at least 2 simple machines. Today they opened their museum of compound machines. I was truly amazed at the amount of creativity and ingenuity I observed. This was so much fun!
Here are some shots of Mac's catapult when he completed it at home...
Mac launched 3 marshmellows simulatneously.

Basketball PARTY!

3.7.09
The fifth grade basketball Wolfhounds ended their season 7 and 5. Definitely not as good as last year's championship team, but we are just as proud and had just as much fun! The family friends are the very best part! We love our friends!
Here are some photos from the end of the season party at the Hunters home. We had great food, great trophies and a great time!
Our sweet practice squad of little brothers!! Lucas, Will, and Evan and receive their very own trophies because they practiced with the team at every practice and came to every game.
Trophy distribution speeches.
Coach Dad, Mac, and Asst.Coach Hunter
The coaches can now celebrate the end of the season without the team too!

Go Wolfhounds! Congratulations on a great season!
