Lucas plays coach pitch for the Cardinals this year. I had forgotten to bring my camera today and Lucas was catching for the first time. Greg was coaching Mac's Marlins DYA team at the same time, so I took some shots with my camera phone. Not the best, but at least I have a record of it.

Mac's St. Brigid band had their Spiring Concert at Bishop Watterson with all the feeder schools, yesterday. It was great! Wattterson always has all the bands play including the High School Concert Band. Here is Mac right before the performance...

This year Lu's baseball team (coach pitch) is the Cardinals. His first game, on Saturday, was against the Blue Jays! It was a beautiful day, but the fields were still wet from the previous days rains! So they played in the outfield. Oh well- like I said - it was a BEAUTIFUL day! Here is Lu batting.

Lucas's First Grade Art Show

Norwich Elementary After studying masks around the world,the first grade artists made Chinese Opera Masks on poles. This is Lucas's.

They also created these three-dimensional African Masks. Here is Lu's. He named it Four Eyes.

Below are 2 plants that Lu created: the one on the background is a leaf and the one in the foreground is a Venus Flytrap.

The first grade also studied Eric Carle's style of art. This is a collage Lu made inspired by Eric Carle.
