Lucas didn't have school today and the Knights of Columbus were given free passes to Cedar Point, so we decided today was a good day to go up to Lake Erie for the day. We arrived here in Vermillion at the Lake Erie Historical Society.

Then we went to Cedar Point for HALLOWEEKEND!!! This was new for us. In all the years we have been going to Cedar Point (35+), we have never been up in the fall for their Halloween haunts. It started out light out and we rode a lot of the rides. YEAH! The boys LOVED it! Especially Lucas! He could not wait to gt back on the Wildcat, the Blue Streak, and even wanted to go on the Dumpster Drop ( I mean the Demon Drop) and the Dragster, and all the other "scare-the-hell-out-of you" rides that we flatly refused to go on!!!
Here the boys rode the puke swings...
In this shot you can barely tell, but we are going through Frontierland and there are some skeletons riding the coach.
We did the MONSTER MASH with some interesting characters...

Mac, Schroeder, and Lucas say Happy Halloween!!!!

Waiting in line for the Blue Streak!
The FRIGHT ZONE was in Frontierland. It is a long winding path through the woods. Suddenly you are drifting into a very dark, very "foggy" place when a very bright moving light shines in your eyes. As you creep forward, you are accosted by sudden, loud, and incredibly ugly Halloween creatures! What fun! The boys loved every minute of it! We would definitely come again!

A new meaning for "ball boys".

Team pep talk
Playing the Blitz, we found out that 3 of Lu's friends were on this team... This is Lu with Jack Pugh for his class at Norwich and our neighborhood.
This Lu with Nash, long time family friends!
