Guess what movie the boys watched with Greg last night?

Fall Portraits

10.20.08
It has been so beautiful out and the trees are in full color, so I thought it would be a great time to take a break and get some fall portraits. After school, we went over to our neighborhood entrance to enjoy the picturesque backdrop.

And we had some fun too...

Barn Bash 2008

10.18.08
St Brigid of Kildare School
Barn Bash 2008
One of the most anticipated events of the school year, the Barn Bash never fails to please everyone. Held at Leeds farm in Ostrander, Ohio, the Leeds family offers, a hay loft, a corn maze, a mountain of tube slides, pumpkin picking, hayrides, a tractor train, a zipline, tube rolling, a bonfire, goats, sheep, pigs, cows, a DJ, and the school families provide the food and drink. The kids have a blast feeling free as they dash from place to place with all their friends!!!
Here are a few shots I managed to capture when I could wrangle the kids to a stop...

Halloweekend at Cedar Point

10.17.08
Lucas didn't have school today and the Knights of Columbus were given free passes to Cedar Point, so we decided today was a good day to go up to Lake Erie for the day. We arrived here in Vermillion at the Lake Erie Historical Society.

Then we went to Cedar Point for HALLOWEEKEND!!! This was new for us. In all the years we have been going to Cedar Point (35+), we have never been up in the fall for their Halloween haunts. It started out light out and we rode a lot of the rides. YEAH! The boys LOVED it! Especially Lucas! He could not wait to gt back on the Wildcat, the Blue Streak, and even wanted to go on the Dumpster Drop ( I mean the Demon Drop) and the Dragster, and all the other "scare-the-hell-out-of you" rides that we flatly refused to go on!!!
Here the boys rode the puke swings...
In this shot you can barely tell, but we are going through Frontierland and there are some skeletons riding the coach. We did the MONSTER MASH with some interesting characters...

Mac, Schroeder, and Lucas say Happy Halloween!!!!

Waiting in line for the Blue Streak!
The FRIGHT ZONE was in Frontierland. It is a long winding path through the woods. Suddenly you are drifting into a very dark, very "foggy" place when a very bright moving light shines in your eyes. As you creep forward, you are accosted by sudden, loud, and incredibly ugly Halloween creatures! What fun! The boys loved every minute of it! We would definitely come again!
