Christmas 2008
Christmas Eve 2008
12.08.24
So, Greg took the boys to get their hair cut this morning. Christmas Eve. I was so impressed that this is how I decided to take their Christmas pictures...
After the Children's Mass at St. Brigid.
I was finally convinced that the hair would grow back. Some day. And most people will know my kids are not part of the arian nation or prisoners of war. The rest will just have to wonder.
The First Gift of Christmas...
The boys always beg to open one gift on Christmas Eve... Little do they know how unexciting it will be becuase I always wrap up their new Christmas jammies and make them open that box!! Teeheehee. So excited!!! And there are they are!!! Darn, Mom.
Christmas Cookie Baking: a Tradition
12.22.08
I have been baking Christmas cookies ever since I can remember. My grandmother was a nutritionist and home economics teacher and she taught me everything she knew about cooking, sewing, nutrition etc... I haven't retained everything she knew, or even a quarter of it, but she sure taught it to me! The one thing that interested me and therefore stuck was baking cookies. Of course Grandma used to make about 10 different kinds at Christmas, but I have carried on the tradition with just 2 kinds! The photos below are the boys in the third phase of our cut out cookies- painting them. We paint with egg whites and food paint.

Baronscourt Neighbors Christmas Progressive Dinner
12.9.08
I was a terrible photographer at our Christmas Progressive Dinner... I forgot to take pictures all together at the first house... excpet for this one of our great host and hostess Mike and Amy Gonidakis. Then I still took very few shots and even less good ones. I'm really slacking.
This was at the "dinner" house, the Travis home. Fiona is in the center of the above pic and Alan is at the head of the table in the lower pic.
At our dessert house, Martha and Dan Pugh, I managed to get a few more shots, but completely missed the host and hostes!!
This is my friend and almost nextdoor neighbor, Mickie and her husband Scott.

And this is Kevin and Nikki Petry, who joined our Christmas partyfor the first time this year!
I will try to be better as the photographer next year! And maybe I'll even be in one!
