Daddy takes the boys for a ride in Papa's Corvette. It's not very often, the Vette gets out of the garage and the boys were thrilled! ( Including Greg!)

Greg's friend, TJ, happens to have a Mustang GT.The boys think it is SOOO cool! They've definitely gotten more into cars (especially Mustangs) since Transformers came out! TJ was a sweetheart and took each one for a ride!

Sidecut Park

While in Toledo this weekend, we decided to take the boys to Sidecut Park along the Maumee River. Of Course, I think we chose to do this on the most humid day of the summer!! But the canals were amazing!! I am a little bit of a canal enthusiast! ( Gee has anyone in the history of the world ever uttered those words???) I had no idea how well preserved these canals would be! The Toledo Metroparks system did a fabulous job!!!

Down by the River...

The Maumee River that is. Lucas wanted to learn how to skip rocks and he did. They all had so much fun skipping rocks, climbing over rocks, and hopping from rock to rock to actually cross the river to an island.
