Gesu Class of 1979
8th Grade 30th Reunion
Today our 8th grade class celebrated our 30th reunion together.We gathered at Gesu in Toledo to attend 4:00 mass together, toured the "old" school, then partied until the wee hours together in the Sullivan Center. We came from near and FAR... Toledo, Cleveland, Columbus, North Carolina, Florida, Texas, Colorado, California, and Asia! We talked, we laughed, we drank, re-aquainted, we reminisced, we drank, we ate, we judged, we voted, we laughed some more, we danced, and we drank! This is a very special group of people. We graduated with 65 students, 38 of us returned 30 years later. The ones that were not able to make it were dearly missed!! I LOVE MY CLASS!
The gym was also known as Loyola Hall.

This was the hit of the reunion... Henry Delp, our 8th grade gym teacher, came to the reunion and brought with him his records of our 8th grade class's results from the physical fitness activities we did! I am pointing to mine. There were things like the 40 yard dash, 100 yard dash, mile, sit ups, push ups, chin ups, football pass, etc. It was hilarious to read!

football pass: 18
sit ups: 37
Horizotal bars: 50
Chin ups: 2
( and this was GOOD! Most girls in our class got 0 chin ups!!!)
