Adult Halloween Fun

So we have 3 Halloween parties this weekend! We weren't very prepared though... me because I was sick with the flu and a sinus infection, Greg because his idea of planning is going shopping the day of the party. So here is what we ended up with... Me- I am a bobbie soxer and Greg is gift... from God!! I thought it was fitting!! :<) I am so intrigued with my fake pony tail!!!!

Halloween 2009

Beggar's Night is never held on Halloween in Columbus. Someone, who knows who, decided it was not safe for children to be out on Halloween or the weekend. So Beggar's night has always been the Thursday before Halloween. There has been a lot of controversy over this for years, but it is been this way ever since we have lived here- 20 years. Most suburbs follow the same schedule. Dublin does. So we trick or treated Thursday as well.

The boys both chose to be tough guys this year, albeit 1900 years apart. Lucas was a gladiator and Mac was the Terminator...

Mac never came out of character the whole night! He was very disciplined and serious. Each time he received his candy he would say, "I'll be back." He takes his role seriously.

Lucas also loves to be in character, but he is also a ham for the camera!!!

The Arndt Family Buckeye Tailgate Bash 2009

The 2009 Arndt Family Buckeye Tailgate Bash was a rousing success with well over 100 in attendance! The Buckeyes pulled their weight and stomped the Hoosiers 33 - 14. We once again projected the screen onto Doc's house (our neighbor) and setup all the food and drinks in the garage. Chairs and fireplaces were set up in the drive. SO much fun!! And PERFECT weather... not too cold and no rain!! I LOVE this party! We will do this for a long time! I had so much fun, I didn't even get around to get all the pics I wanted to take!

Jerry, our next door neighbor, gave Lucas a pair of old stilts today. He immediately got to work learning how to use them. He was focused and determined! I was so proud of him!! He was amazing!!

Team Fire begins their season
