Columbus Clippers Game

One of Lucas's best friends, Owen, invited Lucas to go with him to a Clippers game. But this was no ordinary baseball game. Owen's parents had won a package at our parish auction fundraiser. The package was part of a" teacher time" group of packages where the teachers and staff donate time and do something fun with the kids. This package was for a trip to a Clippers game, for their kids and a friend each and included food and fun! Owen chose Lucas to go with him and Owen's brother Nic chose his friend Eddie. No one expected the fan fare they received when they were picked up though! Two vans with Mrs Iannarino - the awesome school nurse, her husband Deacon Don, one of their daughters, and Mrs. Crawford - the school secretary, and her hsuband! There were balloons hanging out the windows, the boys names painted on the windows, and "Take Me Out To The Ballgame blaring!!! It was so cute!! They really made the boys feel special!!!
