Man, how did the time get away from me? It's been well over a month since I have been able to blog! Let me try to catch up...
I got a job!!! Yeah!!! It's part time- 4 days a week. No benefits, but it pays well when I am at work. And the best part... it is back in a school!! I am working back in my field again. I am a Instructional Coach for the Franklin County Educational Services Center. We work with Columbus City Schools in their underachieving schools that are on academic watch or academic emergency. My job is to observe, assess, guide, suggest, model, and mentor teachers to improve their teaching and their students' learning. I absolutely LOVED my 3 weeks of training!! I have always LOVED learning how to be a better teacher. I just finished my first week in my school. And next week is our last week before Christmas break. This week will be spent building relationships and looking at data. I look forward to coming back after break and jumping into the thick of things!!!
